Cubs and Cousins Fly-in July 31 - August 1
Time & Location
About the Event
This is the first Cubs and Cousins event to be held at the WRAF Field in recent years. Probably one type of model aircraft seen at most RC Club Fields, the Piper Cub, Taylor Craft, and the-like are very popular as a first model. Even though used as a trainer, flying an RC Cub in a scale-like fashion, can be challenging and enjoyable to see. All sizes, form micro to super-scale will be represented at this event. Glow, Gas, and Electric models are welcome. If it's cub-like, high-wing, low-wing, tail-dragger, bi-plane, or somehow related, bring it. You won't be 'judged', but you may be asked about your unique model. Building and talking about our models is one of the enjoyable aspects to our hobby. "Almost as much as flying them!"
Be sure to RSVP and make reservations for camping. We have RV camping, both hookups and dry-camping. These tend to go fast, so get yours reserved ASAP. Come early for open flying. AMA membership required.
We anticipate this to be a very popular event, at the height of the flying season, NCW weather, and at a Premere RC Field.
